Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) are licensed independent primary health care providers that provide traditional care for mothers and infants. CNMs monitor the physical, psychological and social well-being of the mother throughout their pregnancy and deliver individualized education, counseling and prenatal care. Certified Nurse Mid-wives provide expert care during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum support.
