Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning—also referred to as epidermal leveling—is an exfoliation procedure designed to smooth the appearance of the skin, reduce fine lines, and minimize acne scars. The innovative technique carefully removes the top layers of the tissue, ridding the face of the dead skin and ‘peach fuzz’ that can trap in dirt and oils. The procedure will allow for new skin to appear, brightening the complexion. It is gentle and safe for all skin types including pregnant and nursing mothers. For optimal results, it is recommended that patients repeat the Epidermal Leveling procedure once a month. There is little or nor downtime after an Epidermal Leveling treatment. Patients can return to school or to work immediately. Should another procedure, such a Chemical Peel, follow the treatment, specific at home instructions will be provided. Additional cost applies for chemical peel.
